Please let me know if you plan on attending our  class or workshops since we are limited to the number of students who can attend.  Class themes will be all inclusive and designed around each of YOU! If you are interested in attending classes in July, please read this entire page as there is important information provided.

If there is a drastic change in the weather, classes may be cancelled.  Please keep an eye on our website, IntegrativeYogaMaine.com if there is a change in the weather, we will post a class cancellation.

Outdoor Yoga Experience Guidelines

  1. Please refrain from attending class if you think you may have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, work in a high risk environment, traveled out of the central Maine area or if you have any cold, flu or unusual symptoms. Please refrain from class if you have any concerns about your health or the health of the people you live with or care for.

  2. Upon arrival, please apply the hand sanitizer that is available on the porch.

  3. Please bring your face mask, though the state does not require you to wear a mask outside while practicing social distancing.

  4. Yoga mats will be placed 8-10 feet apart.

  5. Be prepared to walk during our session.

  6. Please be prepared for unpredictable weather. Dress in layers.

  7. Bring items you think you might need to make class enjoyable.  This may include bug repellant, sunscreen, blanket, snowsuit, swimsuit :), (you know spring in Maine) your own yoga mat, props and a flexible mindset.

  8. Bring your own yoga mat if you have one, if you would like to use one of our mats, please be sure to wash the mat thoroughly with the disinfectant wipes provided after use.  Other yoga props will not be available at this time. If you need additional props, please bring them or ask me ahead of time to have them available for you.

  9. You may want to bring a flat sheet or blanket to place on the ground under your yoga mat.  I find that this keeps my space neat and clean.  I am able to enjoy my practice more this way.

  10. Please bring your own water or tea.

  11. The bathroom will be available for use, but please limit building occupation to one person at a time.  The entry and bathroom will be cleaned thoroughly before and after class.

  12. If possible please use our new payment options.

10-Class pass ($100) or a drop-in class ($12)  https://www.integrativeyogamaine.com/apps/webstore/.  If this isn’t an easy option for you, there will be a large glass vase on the porch for hands-free payment options. Please bring a check or exact change if you must pay in person.

  1. The yoga teacher will sign all students into class. Many of you have pre-paid for classes. Rest assured, this information is available.  The teacher will periodically remind you regarding how many classes you still have on your class pass.

Please do not drive to class with anyone who does not live in your household. Small businesses have filled out a compliance form requiring us to ask patrons to avoid this practice. Thank you for understanding.

We are doing the best we can to implement changes and strive to exceed safety standards outlined by the medical experts and government officials.  Thank you so much for being a wonderful community who I am honored to know.

Thank you for supporting our very small business.

We are here for you and survive because of you.

Thank you all!  - Tracy

Our Slow & Thoughtful Reopening Plan

Hello Yoga Family!

I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and adjusting to these uncertain times.  I miss YOU and our collective yoga experience more than you will ever know.  I value and admire each of you and have missed your kindness, wisdom and loving energy.

Though I am causious, I look forward to resuming regular classes and workshops when the time is right.  I have been monitoring the guidelines and recommendations regarding Covid-19 closely.

Indoor Yoga Classes

Currently the State of Maine anticipates that we will be safe to reopen for indoor yoga classes on June first ( THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE.  YOGA STUDIOS NO LONGER HAVE PERMISSION TO REOPEN IN JUNE).  I have already implemented the State’s released recommendations required to safely reopen and await industry specific instructions.  Indoor yoga classes will most likely be limited to four or five students and pre-registration and payment may be required. We all understand that things are unpredictable and may change unexpectedly.

Outdoor Yoga Classes

Outdoor fitness classes are able to resume on Monday, May 11th, but the weather looks a bit unsavory or unpredictable at this point.  I am monitoring the weather and it looks like we might be able to have an outdoor, one hour class next week.   I will keep you posted when outdoor classes are scheduled.

Outdoor class tempo will be partially designed around the weather and we will be creative and flexible.   Covid-19 has taught us all to modify and embody grace.

Outdoor Yoga Experience Guidelines

  1. Please refrain from attending class if you think you may have been exposed to someone with covid-19 or you have any cold or flu symptoms.

  2. Upon arrival, please apply the hand sanitizer that is available on the porch.

  3. Please bring your facemask, though the state does not require you to wear a mask outside while practicing social distancing.

  4. Yoga mats will be placed 8 feet apart.  Please bring your own mat if you have one.  If you do not have a mat you are welcomed to use one of ours.  Please wash your mat with the disinfectant wipes after use.  Please be assured that I will also wash all mats after every single use.

  5. Be prepared to walk during our session.

  6. Please be prepared for unpredictable weather.

  7. Bring items you think you might need to make class enjoyable.  This may include bug repellant, sunscreen, blanket, snowsuit, swimsuit :), (you know spring in Maine) your own yoga mat, props and a flexible mindset.

  8. Bring your own yoga mat if you have one, if you would like to use one of our mats, please be sure to wash the mat thoroughly with the disinfectant wipes provided.

  • Please bring your own water or tea.

The bathroom will be available for use, but please limit building occupation to one person at a time.  The entry and bathroom will be cleaned thoroughly before and after class.

    • Many of you still have class passes, don't worry your class pass has not expired.
  1. If possible please use our new payment options.

10-Class pass ($100) or a drop-in class ($12)  https://www.integrativeyogamaine.com/apps/webstore/ If this isn’t an easy option for you, there will be a large glass vase on the porch for hands-free payment options. Please bring a check or exact change if you must pay in person.

  1. The yoga teacher will sign all students into class as a mitigating strategy.

Workshop Updates

We had several workshops that were scheduled for April and May 2020. Many of you have pre-paid for your workshop . We are happy to give you a refund or help you find classes or a future workshop that fits your personal needs if you are unable to join us when we are able to hold classes and workshops again.  We are waiting to see the exact guidelines regarding indoor yoga classes before we revise our Workshops.  We want to make sure we are always exceeding the safety guidelines outlined by the experts.  Thank you all for your understanding.

There will be continuous modifications in regards to how we operate to improve mitigation strategies. The exact guidelines for our business have not been released by the state of Maine, but I assume that they will be similar to the guidelines offered for other businesses.

We are doing the best we can to implement changes and strive to exceed safety standards outlined by the medical experts and government officials.   We are all learning and growing.  Once more information is provided by state officials we will carefully evaluate our indoor yoga class reopening plan.  We are thoughtful and measured as we consider our next step.

Thank you for supporting our very small business.

We are here for you and survive because of you.
